Our son is in Wilmington, NC at CFCC in his second year. Last year we bought an American Bedding Queen Chesapeake mattress and box springs. This year it sleeps like a hammock. We spent the week end with him and slept in his bed and it was TERRIBLE!! after going to wal mart to buy groceries, we drove by Mattress Capital at 5111 Market Street. Jackie, the sales lady, was EXTREMELY helpful, patient, kind and informative of your products. We bought the Energy Firm Natural Living Mattress and Box Springs from her. Two WONDERFUL men delivered it that afternoon and took away the hammock bed, very professionally… hopefully they tossed it!! Our son is backpain free and sleeping like a baby. Ms. Kat Bova sold me on the idea of a Tempur-Pedic mattress when I decided to stop by the Mattress Capital store on Fayetteville Street in Durham, NC a month ago. I was weighing the options of which mattress to buy when she showed me the Tempur-Pedic collection. While they look good the price is a bit steep; however, after her honesty regarding all of my issues, I gained a better view on it. So after a month of mulling it over, I decided to go back to the store to reaffirm what I thought before, and gauge the price verses the quality. Out of all the many mattress stores there are within the Durham area, I’m glad that I found and entered this one. I wrote this message to make known their excellent customer service skills, and while I will not have a need to go into another [mattress store] for 20 years, (because I will have my wonderful Tempur-Pedic mattress with its 20 year warranty) I know that others will. And they will be grateful to have them [Mattress Capital] at their disposal.

This past December I was in need of a queen mattress and box spring set for my newly decorated spare bedroom. My mother was coming in to town for Christmas and I wanted to create a nice space for her to stay.
The salesman helped me pick out the set I purchased. He took the time to listen to me and helped me stay within my budget. He was very knowledgeable and professional – a real pleasure to work with. The purchasing and delivery process were seamless. The two gentlemen that delivered my purchase were prompt and courteous, and even helped me put my bed skirt on before gingerly centering the mattress.
My mom stayed with us for two weeks and said she had never felt so comfortable and slept so well away from her home. Now my husband, my kids, and I fight over who gets to sleep in the spare bedroom.

We purchased our first Simmons mattress in 1972. We slept on this mattress every night for 38 years and have just replaced it with another Latex Simmons from Mattress Capital of Raleigh. We did not have to be sold on the quality of Englander; however, the salesman was very helpful in getting us the particular mattress that we desired.
